Frequently Asked Questions
What are the ingredients in your bread?
Organic flour, water, and salt. No egg, no dairy (except the Asiago Cheese because of the cheese, obviously... :) ) - the bread is Vegan. I'll add the increments to the dough depending on the flavor, like olives, grains, seeds, herbs, dried fruit...
How long will a loaf last?
It lasts for a good 3-6 days at room temperature. I recommend, though, you keeping it in a sealed plastic bag or in an airtight container after a day or two so that it will stay soft for longer.
Can I freeze you bread?
Yes! Of course! The bread freezes really well and it will still be good for 3 months or so. I suggest you cutting the loaf in a half and putting in an airtight plastic bag before freezing it. You can also slice the loaf and freeze it as individual portions. Check out this video I made with instructions: https://www.instagram.com/p/CRzXdfejdCj/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
Is your bread gluten free?
Nope. All the products Simply Bread makes have wheat flour. However, because of the process of how the bread is made (slowly fermented using a wild yeast culture), some people that are gluten sensitive are able to eat it. Therefore, you should always talk to your doctor to see if that is an option for you.
Do you take special orders?
Yes, I do! Anytime you need a large amount of loaves or something special for an event or a party you're hosting, just contact me in advance (a week ahead is ideal) and I'd be more than happy to assist you.
Where can I buy your bread?
You can simply walk-in in my bakery and get whatever I have available, or you can pre-order your bread on the website by Tuesday for pick up Thursday OR by Thursday for pick up Saturday.
